Best Hotels Rome Italy

Our core mission when finding you the best hotels in Rome, Italy:

  • Design – We believe you should sleep somewhere that inspires you – No matter your budget.
  • Unique – No cookie cutter rooms. Always feel like you are somewhere new and exciting.
  • Near Good Food – Whether in the hotel itself or very nearby. Your taste buds need satisfaction!

What are the BEST areas to stay in Rome, Italy?

Monti

The name literally means mountains in Italian. It used to be known as the “red light district” of Rome in Medieval times, but today it’s loaded with hip boutiques, funky bars and great restaurants. Some notable attractions in this area include:

  • Colosseum
  • Ludus Magnus (the gym for gladiators)
  • Nero’s Domus Aurea
  • the baths of Trajan
  • the baths of Titus
  • part of the Forum Romanum
  • markets of Trajan

Spanish Steps

The area around the famous Spanish Steps which are the steep steps between the Piazza di Spagna at the base and Piazza Trinità dei Monti, dominated by the Trinità dei Monti church at the top. This area is known for its designer boutiques and high-street outlets along Via del Corso.

Pantheon & Piazza Navona

Winding medieval alleyways that open up into stunning piazza’s, and some of Rome’s most iconic landmarks including The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and more. Located not far from the Spanish Steps this is a hot spot for tourist – which means prices for EVERYTHING can be much higher, but you will be in the centre of all the action

Vatican Area – Prati & Ottaviano

Ottaviano is a station on Line A of the Rome Metro and the area itself is called Prati, it also happens to be a stone’s throw from Vatican City. It’s full of grand 19th-century palazzi and it’s well connected to the centre, by bus and metro. It’s not as charming as the historical centre, but it has a more local feel because it is removed from the crush of tourists.

Trastevere

Located South West on the banks of the River Tiber and near Basilica di Santa Maria, Trastevere is the place to discover narrow streets lined with excellent trattorias and bars. It’s also popular for its lovely ancient buildings and picturesque cobbled streets – a great place to take some unique photos.

Airports – Getting into Rome

Rome has 2 main airports.

Airport Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci International): Which is to the west near the coast. This is the main international airport.

Airport (Ciampino Airport): Focused more on EU and low-cost carriers, like Ryan Air.

Airport Transfers

Travel in air-conditioned comfort at the time of your choosing. Don’t worry about public transport or haggling with taxi drivers. Be greeted at the airport and driven to your hotel in style and comfort with a pre-booked private transfer.
