Jackie ‘O is one of the most famous beach clubs in Mykonos and is definitely worth a visit. I went here to see a drag show as part of an 80’s event they were having and it was so much fun. The vibe is amazing and everyone is dressed up and ready to party. However, for me, number 1 is always food and that also didn’t disappoint! I had a platter of sliders and sandwiches. It sounds not that interesting but somehow they made it great! This consisted of one incredible mini beef burger but also a mini prawn burger which was divine. Then for the sandwiches, my favourite was a delicious steak sandwich. I would highly recommend the food here! The music and drinks were even better. The lunch menu was a lot more fine dining and also divine, with more seafood options.

Gyros and Souvlaki at Leonidas

Leonidas Snack bar is a fast-food restaurant in Mykonos which is great if you’re just looking for a quick bite or something cheaper than the typically expensive restaurants in Mykonos. At Leonidas, you can get nice gyros or souvlaki, either to go or eat at their premises. The seats are limited though, and it’s quite a popular place because it’s centrally located in Mykonos Town, and prices are very reasonable with just a couple of Euros for a Souvlaki or Pita Gyro.

I recommend the souvlaki, which can be had either on a plate with fries or on a stick to go.

Greek Salad and Pasta at Vasilikos Restaurant

Vasilikos bar-restaurant is a greek restaurant on the west side of Mykonos, near the luxury hotels of Bill and Coo Coast Suites and Katikies Mykonos.

It’s combined with the Italian restaurant Bellissimo pizza e pasta and guests can order food from both places on the same premises. It’s the same owner, and both Greek and Italian food are delicious.

Portions are generous and prices are quite modest compared to other restaurants in Mykonos town for example. The Greek salad was very nice and cost less than 10 Euros, and the Pasta with shrimps were also very nice.

If you’re staying in the area or visit the church of Agios Ioannis or want to go over to Delos, this is a great stop for some food.

All you need is #love and Gin & Tonic ……

If you are looking for a fairly inexpensive place with an amazing beach vibe in Mykonos, then look no further. Avli Tou Thodori is one of the best Greek restaurants in Mykonos and it’s perfectly located on the side of the beach. You will fall into with the fresh seafood dishes with ingredients that are caught daily, the uniquely balanced cocktails, and the complimentary (sometimes) desserts at Avli Tou Thodori. When visiting Avli Tou Thodori, make sure you give the kleftiko a try. Kleftiko is a traditional Greek dish made of slow-cooked lamb, olive oil, garlic, onion, and lemon. The slow-cooking process makes the lamb incredibly tender, juicy, and aromatic. It is a dish that you change your life!

Imam Bayildi at Kostas

Kostas is a traditional Greek tavern in the Little Venice area of Mykonos. The location is perfect, and the outside tables with chequered tablecloths are great for people watching if you can get a seat. It’s often packed, so booking ahead might be a good idea.

The imam bayildi (written as just “imam” on the menu) is outstanding! This is a traditional Turkish dish of roasted stuffed eggplant that is also popular in Greek cuisine. It’s one of several naturally plant-based dishes on the menu, making Kostas a great option for vegans and vegetarians in Mykonos. Prices here are pretty reasonable considering the location, and they sometimes have live music playing.
